Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida announced its annual award recipients for distinguished service to its mission.
The annual individual Hall of Fame Laureates for 2016 are Brian and Crystal Spencer and Sue Straughn.
This year’s Laureates were selected on criteria including support of Junior Achievement’s mission of inspiring young people to succeed in a global economy, volunteering in the classroom, assistance with fundraising for the organization, dedication to improving the community, and distinguished community leadership that directly impacts children.
Junior Achievement also chooses distinguished local businesses and honors them with annual leadership awards. Those honors were given to the following:

Hall of Fame Laureates are chosen each year by a special committee which consists of members from the Junior Achievement Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers. Past Junior Achievement Laureates also provide input for consideration by the selection committee.
