Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida

Mission: To inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy

With the help of trained volunteer role models from the community, Junior Achievement shows young people how money, careers, and business ownership work.

Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida announced a $25,000 grant from the SunTrust Foundation.

“SunTrust’s generous $25,000 donation to Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida will fund economics and personal finance programming for 1,150 students in the Escambia and Santa Rosa County School districts,” said Ildi Hosman, President, Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida. “Gifts of this magnitude help us to reach large populations of students attending Title I schools in the area. We are very grateful to SunTrust Foundation for its support of the critical educational programming Junior Achievement provides to the children who comprise the future workforce and leadership of Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida is a non-profit 501c3 organization operating 100% of its programming from foundation grants and corporate and individual contributions.
