Cyndi Warren and Dr. Ken Ford Lauded as JA Laureates

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Junior Achievement of Northwest Florida announces Cyndi Warren of Warren Averett, LLC and Dr. Ken Ford of the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC) as its 2017 Hall of Fame Laureates.

Recognition as a Junior Achievement Laureate signifies an outstanding lifetime achievement for individuals who have made a major, positive impact in the Greater Pensacola area, specifically with mentoring young people and with a focus on the free enterprise economy.

Junior Achievement Laureates have consistently demonstrated, in their professional lives and community involvement, interest in financial literacy for youth, business excellence, and innovative leadership.
Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of business and community leaders.

To be considered for the honor of Junior Achievement Hall of Fame Laureate, an individual must:
-Be recognized for his or her significant business acumen and achievements,
-Display characteristics of business excellence and integrity,
-Demonstrate inspiring business and community leadership,
-Exhibit exemplary ethical and civic role model qualities in business with a history of mentoring youth,
-Be a supporter of or contributor to Junior Achievement,
-Possess a record of professional and civic achievements that are a direct result of their use of the free enterprise system to improve the quality of the lives of those in their company and community.

The organization also selects four business partners annually who have shown exemplary support of Jr. Achievement’s mission to inspire young people to succeed in a global economy.

On November 14, this year’s Laureates and distinguished business partners will be honored at the Pensacola Yacht Club at Junior Achievement’s largest annual fundraiser, Hall of Fame.  The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
